Press release from the Borough of Emmaus: January 4, 2022 The Public Works Department will collect Christmas trees curbside beginning Monday, January 3rd, 2022 through Friday, January 14, 2022.  Place your natural tree at the curb, WITHOUT A BAG, ORNAMENTS, TINSEL/GARLAND, LIGHTS, or TREE STANDS.  The Public Works Department will not collect artificial trees placed at the curb.  The Borough's refuse collection company, Whitetail Disposal, will not collect trees left at the curb.  Trees discarded after January 14th, 2022 will not be pick up.  After January 14th, residents must take their tree to the Compost Site for Disposal.  The Compost site will be open daily January 17th to 21st, 2022 from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for disposal of Christmas trees and other yard waste (no loading).
