Fregeau Construction & Tile is looking for a full-time bathroom remodeler, tile installer, and general home remodeler. We are willing to consider all levels of experience for this position, and will gladly train the right person - even Entry-Level or Change-of-Career people. We are a small, family-owned, licensed General Contractor and Tile Contractor located in Carmichael, and we primarily specialize in residential bathroom remodeling, tile work, and other home remodel projects. For us, our reputation is the most important thing, and we intend to provide awesome service and quality of work for our happy clients. Non-Negotiable Qualifications Are: - Must have a high degree of professionalism, on the job and around clients and homeowners (please, no foul-mouthed, lazy, arrogant or difficult people) - Must be reliable, punctual and on-time - Must be responsible, mature, and trustworthy - Must be a good, clear communicator - Must be growth oriented and willing to learn and take initiative - Must be hardworking and up to the task Tasks Will Include: - Shower Building & Waterproofing - Tile-Setting - Many of our jobs include tiling showers, tubs, and floors - Bathroom plumbing - Bathroom electrical - Drywall - install, tape, mud and texture - Flooring - tile, laminate/vinyl - Framing - Tub installations - Toilet installations - Vanity/sink installations - Light & fan installations - Shower door/glass installations - Bathroom hardware - Trim, baseboards & finish carpentry - Paint - Other general home remodeling tasks (about 90% of our projects are bathrooms and tile, but we occasionally do other home remodel projects) This is a full-time, W2, position, if you're looking for under-the-table work, or a side-gig, this is not the opportunity. Pay will start at $23 - $30/hr, depending on experience, with plenty of opportunity for growth, increased responsibility, and pay-raise for only the right fit. In addition to base pay, we will pay up to 10% commission on any change order or remodel project you sell. This is not a requirement of the job, but for a self-motivated person this is a great way to learn construction sales and estimating as well as make some nice commissions. You may be required to get your Home Improvement Salesperson License from the CSLB (we'll help you get it), which will require a clean background check.
