Press release from the Town of Davidson: January 3, 2022 Due to severe storms last night, several areas of town lost power and there are still some outages within Davidson. The Town of Davidson and Mecklenburg County Emergency Management are aware and have contacted Duke Energy directly.  To view the outage map directly from Duke Energy, please click here. Based upon the web update provided by Duke Energy, repair crews have been assigned to restore service and will proceed to the location as soon as a crew is available. The estimated time for restoration is January 4 at 7pm, but times may shift as repairs occur throughout the area. Please check back with Duke Energy often for the most up-to-date information.   In the interim, please remember to be mindful that outdoor heaters should not be brought indoors if it is not safe to do so. Please be considerate to your neighbors and consider checking on those who do not have power.
