Daily housekeeping for a busy Davidson family!

We are an active family of four, searching for a daily Housekeeper or House Manager who will help our home run smoothly and peacefully. We both work long hours and want to spend more quality time with our children. The ideal person is energetic, proactive, organized, and reliable. You have experience running a home and can take thinking about that off our plate! We are looking for someone to be with us for the long term. We anticipate 2-3 hours daily, Monday-Friday. We have some flexibility on time of day (prefer afternoons or early evenings) as long as the schedule is consistent every week. The ability to work six days a week (Sunday - Friday) is welcomed, but not required. Essential tasks include: Family laundry including: washing, folding, putting away Daily making beds Daily kitchen clean up including: unloading/reloading dishwasher, cleaning counters, wiping down appliances and sweeping kitchen floor and around dining table, wiping out fridge, microwave, and oven as needed Daily straightening and organizing the home Daily taking out trash and recycling Sweeping and vacuuming as needed Changing and cleaning sheets weekly Weekly watering plants inside and out Clean and organize outside porch / patio areas Deep cleaning of all areas of the home on a regular schedule including: dusting, cleaning bathroom countertops, toilets, showers, mopping floors, cleaning windows, etc. Optional tasks (based on ability/interest/time) could include: Meal prep, school lunchbox prep Restocking essentials from grocery store (milk, cereal, coffee, paper towels, etc) Occasionally picking kids up from school Backup afterschool babysitting for 4 & 7 year old Qualifications Positive, caring, proactive. You enjoy the satisfaction of making order out of chaos! A short commute to our home in Davidson, NC Experience cleaning and managing a home -- even your own -- and excellent references Fully vaccinated for Covid-19 and willing to get boosters Start Date, Salary Starts as soon as the right fit comes along $20 an hour, negotiable based on experience Paid major holidays Paid while we are away, up to 4 weeks a year
