Here are the top stories in Grand Rapids today: Police have identified a Grand Rapids woman killed in a 1997 homicide through DNA testing with the DNA Doe Project. On July 31, 1997, Stephanie Renee Judson's remains were found in a roadside park east of Ada. Her death was ruled a homicide and she was not identified until recently. Judson, who was 31 at her death, was originally from Benton Harbor and moved to Grand Rapids in the late 1980s, police said. The investigation into Judson's death is still ongoing. (MLive.com) Grand Rapids officials emphasized that shortened quarantines don't apply to K-12 schools despite new CDC guidelines. K-12 schools must continue to follow the 1o-day quarantine and isolation guidelines, said school leaders.
