Family Sought For Man Killed In Birmingham

BIRMINGHAM, AL — The Jefferson County Coroner's Office is trying to locate any family members of a man shot to death on New Year's Day in Birmingham. Timothy Dean Pinson, 32, died from a gunshot wound in the parking lot of an apartment complex in the 800 block of Cable Car Court off Valley Avenue. No arrests have been made in the case. Police say Pinson previously lived in Gardendale, Alabama in 2018 and may have family living in Sylacauga. Anyone with knowledge of Pinson's family is asked to call the Jefferson County Coroner's Office at 205-930-3603.
