Front Person and or 2nd Guitarist wanted for Heavy band

Hi, we are currently a 3 piece of drums, bass and guitar that are looking to make our sound heavier, more crushing and interesting.  This band is honestly more of a serious recording project at this point but we do have a lot of integrity and are consistent with live practices and put a lot of time and energy into it.  That doesn't mean we won't play out at some point but its just not our main objective.  Writing killer songs is though and eventually recording them.  That being said, we do have a set of songs already written that we would like another guitarist and vocalist to learn and add their flair to. You would write your own parts of course and contribute to song writing process. We are also old men in our 40's to give you an idea of what you might be stepping in to.  We all seem to love the weed but we don't drink which just sort of happened  that way and we don't care what you do as long as you can hold it down and play.  We are loud and play a lot in D standard and some drop C.  It's a heavy band and has a lot of crushing cool shit going on but we are not a metal band.  We love metal and we use some elements but it's a mix of a lot of stuff.  Noise Rock, Post Rock, Punk, Metal and Sludge come to mind with a tiny bit of mathy shit thrown in not to be smart but some riffs just aren't in 4/4.   We want the vocals and guitar to sound tough and gnarly.  We are open to all types of people..like I even have to say that but it's true.  We are pretty mellow and respectful but the music can certainly be the opposite of that and I hope it is.  We have a good practice space in the deep NW industrial area, good gear and good attitudes (well towards each other that is...fuck the world in general right) Send an email if interested.
