Stage Hands (In Friday 1/7 3pm-7pm) - Out Saturday 1/8 11pm-2am Overnight) We want to hire 2 safe, reliable, experienced event workers/stage hands to assist our small traveling team move and assemble a truckload of production equipment for an indoor dance competition. This job involves unloading/loading and moving heavy, wheeled cases and carts, helping assemble portable dance floor, pipe & drape and other production equipment. All tools are provided. You must have prior experience with event setup, breakdown and working with basic hand tools and materials handling. There is a lot of LIFTING and BENDING involved so you must be agile and physically fit. Work is indoors. Two (4)hr minimum calls. Reply only if you meet ALL of these requirements. 1) Must be available to work BOTH load in and load out. 2) Must have your own transportation. 3) Must communicate well in English. 4) Must be eligible for legal employment. 5) Must be healthy, energetic & physically fit. Lots of bending & lifting! Dress in stage blacks (no big logos or lettering). Long pants, sturdy shoes. Pay rate is negotiable, based on your skills and experience.
