MUST HAVE KNOWLEDGE ON BOSC I have a young savannah monitor, less than a year old I would say that he/she is semi-tame I’ve had him for about 4 months now. Daily routine is sleeping in his burrow, gets up at 8am-9am, basks under the heat lamps and then will poop in his water bowl, you must then clean the water and be ready to feed insects. there’s several ways to do it but it definitely likes to be on schedule everyday. When I go to hold it I reach in, pick it up under the front legs wether it tail whips or hisses or lunges at me he has not ever bitten A big key to taming this animal is the fear factor and your responses to its actions.
