Cattle Barron near Confederate Pkwy, Fort Worth TX
Description
I'm 69, in pretty decent shape and have a background in traditional Goju Ryu Okinawan Karate taught by a Sensei in the NE who is recognized in the US and Okinawa. Not someone who learned from someone, who learned from someone, who decided to open their own school and appoint themselves a Grand Master. Years ago I came down with Lyme Disease so I'm not able to keep up with the rigorous training in a Dojo because I lost a lot of lung function. I have continued to be active and exercise. But, if I'm assaulted Self Defense is the key.
I have a home gym located in an external metal building that's about 14' X 29' with Heat/AC, hardwood floors, mats, weight rack with safety rails and 300lbs of weights, dumbbells, inverter table, pull-up/dip rack, Bob the Dummy, and there's also Internet/TV/Video in the gym. Not a huge place but it should certainly support a small group.
I'd like to meet a few other retired people (M/F) (3-5 others would be ideal) who want to train, exchange techniques and information you've accumulated about self defense. I'll do the same. So, if you have experience in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Police, Special Ops, Military Training, Krav Maga, Gung Fu, or ?? give me a shout!!!
If you've been thinking about something like this......Get Off Your Butt !
NO, this is NOT a way for me to sign you up for a class or share your info.
I'm located in Azle, in a very nice community, about 10 minutes from the Lake Worth Bridge.
Questions? Ask.
Thanks!!
