Seeking Violent Femmes-esque percussion & bass for musical fun!

I've co-written a musical about Milwaukee County Stadium, and I need some friendly musicians who want to perform and record it with me in the coming months. I'll rock out on guitar while y'all do your thing on percussion and bass! I love the Violent Femmes, and seeing how they are Milwaukee through-and-through, they seem like a great jumping off point for a sound. I'm open to your talents and skills for percussion and bass. Normal drumset and bass are fine, and I'm also open to other ideas. For example, are you a washboard player? Awesome! Love to bang on a cardboard box with drumsticks? Great! Do you play the washtub bass? Sweet!! You be you, and we'll all be better for it! Maybe we'll even play some Violent Femmes covers while we are at it...
