Alternative Beatles music project: musicians wanted Concept: Create Beatles music with musicians who play "non-traditional" rock band instruments. Do you play Oboe, cello, Trumpet, Flute, strings, tuba, or other type of instruments? Are you a Multi-instrument player? I am looking for MUSICIANs who are skilled players BUT it does not mater what you play. We will create our own arrangements with whatever players we have. YES we will take players who play guitar, or drums if we get them but they will share the music with players of "other" non-traditional instruments for this music. We may consider doing music from Beatles members from their other bands like wings and traveling willburys or solo works, but lets start with the 296 songs they recorded on records. Requirements: Be a Big Beatles music fan and know the music of this classic rock band. Be skilled enough to create your own part for your instrument. Be willing to consider alternative arrangements but work within the framework of the original. A semi-cooperative groups ideas will come from the players. While the tunes should be recognizable as Beatles melodies they may have uncommon instruments making the sounds YES, I want players who want to be in a preforming group, so we will try to find places where we can play out. If I get four musician ok, if I get Nine good players we can go with that. I have rehearsal space and PA gear (no you will not be asked to pay for rehearsal space ).
