WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN Irrigation / Lighting Technician We are a Landscaping Design, Build and Maintenance company. We have served the Greater Tucson area for over 20 years. Our reputation and commitment to quality work and service has placed us in the upper tier for maintenance, design & installation firms. We are looking for a Landscape Irrigation Technician to Oversee and Manage the Irrigation and Lighting Departments. Must be dependable, responsible & hardworking. Duties will include but not be limited to... • Meet with Residential clients to ensure high level of Irrigation maintenance is being provided. • Periodically inspect properties to ensure that the Irrigation and Lighting needs meet client and company's standards and systems are properly functioning. • Meet with prospective clients to prepare estimates for Irrigation and or Lighting services. • Layout and install new or renovated irrigation and lighting systems. • Manage all irrigation and lighting services, including the coordination of all materials, people, equipment, and subcontractors required to produce quality work. • Installation, maintenance, and repairs of the Low Voltage Lighting Systems. • Plumbing and piping for irrigation systems and gas lines. • Installation, repair and maintenance of fountains/ponds and water features. • Set sprinkler heads and valve boxes. • Implement and enforce company's policies and procedures related to the proper upkeep and maintenance of equipment. • Perform rough and fine grading, dig trenches, cleaning up job site after completion. • Hands-on training and support of crew employees, including proper operation of equipment, safety, and quality standards. Qualifications needed... • Minimum three years of irrigation and lighting repair experience. • Must be organized, efficient, detail oriented and can multi-task. • Knowledge of plants, fertilizing, lawn care and equipment maintenance. • Know how to troubleshoot irrigation and lighting systems to determine reparation needs. • Must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. • Ensure safe working environment. • Comfortable working with computers, Knowledge of QuickBooks a plus • Bilingual a plus. • Valid driver license, with a clean motor vehicle record and reliable transportation to work.
