Desert Youth began as a solo project by Oklahoma-born/Dallas-based musician Eric Gameros in the Fall of 2015. Gameros began recording songs and He then teamed up with Jaron Nix/Desperado Sound and these songs were later released as the We Made a Mess of Things EP and Desert Youth was born. Since then Desert Youth has been featured as the local artist of the week 91.7 KXT and gets regular rotation on the local show. As of 2022 Desert Youth l is writing, performing and recording new music. Desert Youth is looking to piece a band together to rehearse and perform live. Would really like to find others who are enthusiastic and like writing Music and performing. Looking for drummer/percussionists, guitar players and bass player. If you are familiar with indie rock, Americana then I think you’ll like the style. Looking for talented, good hearted musicians.
