Book your first appointment now. Your second dose will be at least 21 days after the first appointment if you receive the Comirnaty (Pfizer) vaccine or 28 days after the first appointment if you receive the Moderna vaccine. The Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) vaccine requires only one dose. Please Note: Clinics are only for individuals 12 years of age and older. Information about vaccination for children ages 5 to 11 may be found here: Dayton Children's Hospital Location & TimeDayton Convention Center - 22 E 5th St, Dayton, OH 45402 8:30 AM-12:00 PM Booster DoseAll fully vaccinated Ohioans age 18 and older are now eligible to receive a booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine following action by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Ages 16 and 17 are eligible for a Pfizer booster. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has reviewed the authorization from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and recommended the following: Pfizer/Comirnaty booster dose People age 16 and older who received the Pfizer-BioNTech/Comirnaty COVID-19 vaccine for their primary vaccine series can receive a booster dose at least six months after their second dose (or third dose if immunocompromised). Moderna booster dose People age 18 and older who received the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine for their primary vaccine series can receive a booster dose of any of the three approved COVID-19 vaccines (Pfizer/Comirnaty, Moderna, or Johnson & Johnson) at least six months after their second dose (or third dose if immunocompromised). Johnson & Johnson booster dose Booster doses are authorized for all recipients of the single-dose Johnson & Johnson/Janssen COVID-19 vaccine age 18 or older. These individuals can receive a booster dose of any of the three approved COVID-19 vaccines (Pfizer, Moderna, or Johnson & Johnson) at least two months following the initial dose.
