Learn how to start making the transition from resort skinning to the backcountry in our 3rd Ski Touring 101 Workshop! Leave the groomers behind and chase untracked pow and solitude. Backcountry skiing is the core of what touring is all about. As always, we'll have the beer flowing and some day of discounts off gear for all attending the event! We will cover the avalanche gear you need to start venturing beyond the ski area boundaries, as well as other safety gear on the market. Additionally, we'll touch on some of the safer places to start exploring the backcountry and when & where to take your first Avalanche Classes. Join us and start your backcountry adventure!
