And we’re here to help! Join us! The Children’s Museum of Cleveland and Dr. Heather Hill of Parenting for Equity & Social Justice are hosting Racial Equity Workshops for Parents this Fall. These workshops will provide a safe and judgement-free environment where parents and caregivers can learn from an expert, ask questions, engage in dialogue, and even practice some new skills. Who is this workshop designed for? Our racial equity programs are designed to support families of all racial and socioeconomic backgrounds on their educational journey. This workshop expands on the information covered in our Let's Talk toolkit. If you are new to CMC's racial equity resources, or have engaged with the Let's Talk toolkit but want to engage more, this workshop is for you! If you have participated in our Parent & Caregiver Learning Community meetings with CSU, you may have covered this information already. Details: We will be hosting the workshop on two dates this fall. It will be the same workshop on each date, so you only need to register for one! Face masks covering the nose and mouth are required for all guests ages 3 and older. Cost: $25/Family. The registration fee includes access to one workshop for the parents and caregivers within one household & a take-home toolkit including a children’s book, activity supplies & more! PLEASE NOTE: These workshops are for adults only and are not open to children. Registration does not include admission to the Museum's exhibit spaces. If you have a friend or family member who would like to enjoy the Museum with your children while you attend the workshop, you can make a reservation here.
