In this workshop, participants will create a woven textile to take home on looms using yarns and fibers to add different texture and pattern During these workshops you will learn tapestry weaving basics and decorative elements of weaving. Experience a range of colours and textured yarns. How to warp and set up a lap loom, use tabby, soumak and rya and other knotting techniques. Produce a woven hanging with the focus on texture, pattern and colour. How to remove weaving from frame and finish ends.
