Concert-Lecture featuring cellist Gjorgi Kroqui. Join us for the launch of the MFY Concert Lecture series featuring cellist Gjorgi Kroqi. The concert will explore the birth and growth of Russian Nationalism that spawned an impressive generation of composers, musicians, dancers and artists. This multi-media presentation will feature students from the CT Youth Orchestra. The public is invited to come in person to this event. Registration will be required and will open on January 3rd. This youth centric program is free but we encourage donations that will help us sustain our on-going series. “Creating the next generation of music lovers” The purpose of Music for Youth is to foster a love and knowledge of live classical and world music in young people through music presentations, school programs, and Free Young Persons’ concerts, thus encouraging the study, performance and understanding of music by students of all ages.
