Dear Broadcasters: It's time for us to celebrate the award winners in our annual Virginias Associated Press Broadcasters contest. Please join us Saturday, Mar. 26, for the 2022 Virginias Associated Press Broadcasters Awards Luncheon at The Greenbrier Resort. The event honoring the best work of 2021 is open to Virginia and West Virginia broadcasters, their spouses and friends, to professionals employed in associated fields and to college students. All the award winners will be revealed at the annual luncheon and awards presentation that begins at 12 p.m. The deadline to register for the luncheon is Friday, Mar. 18, 2022 HOTEL ROOMS: We have a room block at the Greenbrier Resort at the group rate of $259 per night + taxes/fees. Call the hotel directly at 855-453-4858, Option #2 to reserve a room in our block and let them know you are with the Virginias Associated Press Broadcasters group. The deadline to reserve a room at the group rate is Friday, Feb. 25. Please note that rooms in our block sell out quickly, so don't delay to make your reservation. Reservations require a deposit equal to one night's room and tax. This deposit is fully refundable up until 14 days prior to arrival. The hotel offers valet parking and self parking: Valet Parking: A $25 daily valet parking fee will apply to all vehicles which have been valet parked.
