Local tree company looking for crane operator, we own our crane, we use it often. As a Crane Operator, you will be part of a crew that provides high quality tree care to our clients. You will be involved in all aspects of removals, pruning, cable bracing and other concepts related to tree care. You'll be able to safely operate the crane and perform the assigned job tasks while also providing excellent service to our clients. Crane Operator Duties include: Safety is our top priority, be aware of your surroundings to protect yourself, other crew members and all others. Aligns, levels and anchors cranes and equipment. Responsible for cables, straps and the crane equipment prior to lifting operations. Continual voice, radio, or hand communications with co-workers while operating the crane. Open communication concerning safety issues. Assures that all lifts are within load limits of equipment and correctly rigged. Assures that lifting gear is inspected prior to use. Observing functioning of equipment to determine hazards and need for adjustments, repairs, or repack during daily inspection. Ability to carry out written and oral instructions. Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency. Ability to work over time if necessary. The Crane operator will be responsible for performing light maintenance duties such as cleaning and greasing. Pay is based on: Work Experience FT/PT work Sub contractor work also available Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
