Severson Plumbing & Mechanical, Inc. is a long-time Bend Plumbing Contractor, specializing in all things plumbing and is looking for a Warehouse Specialist to become part of our team. This person will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, delivering orders, or managing, organizing, and retrieving stock. The warehouse assistant will lend a hand and assist with any help in and around the shop & office as needed. Plumbing and PO knowledge is a plus! Responsibilities: -Welcome delivery trucks -Receive and track shipments -Unload material from delivery trucks using appropriate tools (often a forklift) -Accommodate and carefully handle fragile material -Tag and label material -Enter data in inventory and logistics software programs (Sage100) -Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; delivering orders to plumbers at job sites. -Completes deliveries by driving truck or van to and from vendors. -Maintains truck or van by completing preventive maintenance requirements and arranging for repairs. -Enforces inventory controls by collecting orders and printing requests. -Provides quality service by following organization standards. -Preserves safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat. -Promotes clean shipping supply area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. -Completes reports by entering required information. -Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Qualifications / Skills: -Valid Driver’s License -Forklift Operation Certification will be considered an advantage -Pervious working experience as a Warehouse Worker a huge plus -Hands on experience with inventory and logistics software programs -Great physical stamina and manual dexterity -Team player -Great interpersonal and communication skills -Good organizational and time-management skills -Equipment maintenance -Data entry skills -Dependability -Problem solver and Solution Seeker -Flexibility is key -Plumbing knowledge is a bonus!
