**READ ENTIRE POST**We have a Rot/Shepherd mix back in April, for my daughter. Although he is a very sweet and smart loving dog, we got him during the pandemic and was not able to socialize him with other people or animals. Although he is absolutely awesome with our cats and other dog, he is not having the life he deserves. My daughter hates to give him up as does our family, but he needs more space, someone to spend the time with him and give him the love he deserves. My daughter is in school, I am back to work full time now and my partner who is a veteran can not handle his intensity while we are away and has often been hurt from how strong this dog is. Like I said, he is a sweet dog and is so loving, very smart and we cant provide the room for all his energy. Because of his energy, this has caused him to have some bad habits as jumping the fence and digging. I believe with the proper attention he will not have these behaviors. He loves playing ball or any toy really, he could play ball forever. He also loves swimming and the beach. He will fetch a ball in the water as well. I think he is really a fish at heart. He has not been fixed yet either which is also a probable behavior for jumping the fence but he has never left the property. He is weary of other people but has never attacked anyone or bitten. He is just very comfortable here. With the pandemic, socializing was not really an option. We would just really love to see him in a loving home. Kids would be a plus since he is in love with my kid. This breaks our heart and please dont send hate, we did not forsee how things would go with our lives and just want the best for him and someone who will have patience and understanding for his needs and how his life has been. We will only let him go to a good home and an approved home as his best interests our in our hearts. We would love to have him go to a home that will keep in contact with us and give us updates on him and his life. SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY!!!!!
