===== The Big Shootout is back with "The Warm Up". The 3-point contest will take place Saturday, March 5th at the MLK Jr. Rec Center in Denton Texas. Prize amounts are as follows: 1st Place: $500 2nd Place: $250 3rd Place: $100 If you have any questions, contact us via Instagram (@thebigshootout) or visit thebigshootout.net ======= Schedule TBA ======== Format The Big Shoot Out is a single-day competition consisting of 3 rounds of 3-point shooting competitions. ---- Round 1: Qualifiers In the qualifying round, each participant has a chance to score as many points as possible. The top 8 participants advance to Round 2. ---- Round 2: The Top 8 The top 8 participants from Round 1 will face off in Round 2. The top 2 finishers from Round 2 will advance to Round 3. (The 3rd place finisher in this round will win the 3rd place prize) ---- Round 3: Head to Head Matchup One final round. The highest scoring contestant wins the prize money. ========= Prize Payouts 1st Place: $500 2nd Place: $250 3rd Place: $100 ========= Eligibility Players must be at least 18 years of age at time of their Big ShootOut event, and legally and physically reside in the US. All persons are eligible to play, except any current NBA player or player that was on an NBA team during the calendar year of the Big ShootOut event. These players are not eligible to participate in the Big ShootOut. Note: Non-professional players who choose to retain their amateur status may participate in a Big ShootOut event; however, they will not be eligible to receive the cash prize.
