Job Functions:
1. Handling claims for moving company.
2. Speaking with customers about their experience and reported claims, and following up with them throughout the claims process.
3.Entering claims and working in the Claims Management System.
4. Notifying all involved parties including van operators, other agents, 3rd party companies.
5. Working with sales people, coordinators, and GM's from all locations on account specific claims.
6. Assigning repair firms to make repairs or coordinate finding replacement items.
7. Preparing settlement offers to customer which may include denials of items.
Working directly on all Interstate move related claims.
8. Reviewing liability and protesting claims handled by other agencies.
9. Supporting claims department with answering all phone calls and emails.
Requirements:
*Must have strong work ethic
*Must be well organized and a self-starter
Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable
*Possess strong organizational and time management skills
*Strong problem-solving skills, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills
*Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
*Ability to deal with demanding customers while remaining objective
*Ability to interact with employees, customers, and vendors in a professional manner
*Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
*Efficiently work in Microsoft programs, and Google Drive.
*Minimal travel possible (must possess valid driving license and vehicle)
