Female vocalist/singer looking to hone skills with musicians

Hello there everybody! I am a vocalist/singer looking to get some experience with working with a band! I am the Whidbey Island area and would like to only come out as far as Anacortes. I love singing, but I have been out of it for the most part for a few years and do not have the experience to just go into a band and play gigs. I do have an electric guitar I hardly have experience with, but would be open to working hard on it if I have other people I can play music with. I definitely am not interested in singing metal or rap, but I would be open to other options because I listen to a bit of almost every genre other than K-Pop and most rap and have no interest in singing metal. Music is my life and would love to find other people that have the same interests in the field as I do and maybe even perform with such people.
