I have an English mastiff fawn male and brindle female. Both purebred. Did have papers but I never registered so I know their purebred plus u can tell looking at them. No small kids please with my female. . Their not runners but my males skiddish of some male. He'd be fine with kids. He just wants attention My female is quite protective over me so I would want someone experienced with bigger dogs with no kids around as she's gotten aggressive when males come around me she don't know. But she's just protective over me bc she's always been with me. She's used to only me my hubby and 2 teens. Not good in cars. They are housebroken but had to go outside in a big heated dog garden shed and I can't give them the attention they need. Their used to other animals. Pigs small dogs cats etc but will chase if they can Neither are fixed. Id like them in a pet home only. I think it may calm my female down to spay her and she'd be a great guard dog They will walk with me and stay by my side unless I'm not paying attention but they won't go far. And they don't if it's just one loose.
