Come exchange the clothes you're no longer wearing for new stuff! There will be wine for purchase at this wholesome community gathering.
A clothing swap makes the process of acquiring new clothing free for everybody. It also is an excellent opportunity to meet new people in your local community.
This event intends to make us think about possible alternatives to ordinary consumer habits which push us to BUY things when we need them, rather than share the things we already have as a community. A clothing swap is one such alternative.
This event is also LGBTQIA friendly. Clothing has a lot to do with gender, and it's important that we untangle ideas which categorize different types of clothing into being for 'men' or for 'women'. Clothing at this swap will be sorted by function rather than by gender.
There will be glasses of wine for purchase, the sales from which will go towards helping fund Liminal's rent.
