If you have found yourself feeling like you're in a little bit of rut, you are not alone. I thought I'd share a few things that lifted my spirits in the past.
Positive routine for better mood
430, get up, coffee, smoke, read something positive for a few.
Write a gratitude list and a couple affirmations
Work out like your life depends on it, I chose CrossFit and or yoga
730-8am you are now ready to make today your bitch. Eat a protein rich breakfast extra fiber to stay full and drink lots of water so your muscles can heal. Stretch throughout the day to alleviate soreness and stiffness
Hug someone for at least 7 seconds if possible at least once but preferred 3 or more times. Release oxytocin which is a natural antidepressant and pain reliever.
If something or someone in general, causes you discomfort, triggers you, steals your joy, or takes more than it gives to your life....set up a fat ass boundary, if not avoiding it all together.
Spend less time on social media, and more time socializing with actual people, friendsz family. Try to set up face time or a an actual coffee or dinner date or park date once a week.
Incorporate the 6 phase guided meditation into your day <15-20 minutes}
Get some sunshine. Like 10 minutes minimum? 30 is ideal to get vitamin D, and reduce depression
Plant something and care for it
Foster a pet that needs someone to save their life (the rescues cover food and supplies and vetting, you just need to have an open heart and home)
Carry extra snacks and water and change for the homeless...so you can make someone's day a little brighter.
Oh and Dance. Spend 3 minutes dancing before you leave for the day. And Its probably going to be great 👍
