TAMPA, FL — The intersection of West Euclid Avenue and Westshore Boulevard will close daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. beginning Wednesday, Jan. 5 for utility construction.
A city of Tampa contractor will be pouring concrete to restore portions of the street following earlier stormwater improvements.
The southbound lane on West Euclid Avenue near Westshore will close beginning at 9 a.m. on Wednesday. The sidewalks in the area will be closed during construction. During construction, pedestrian access will be maintained via signage to other sidewalks in the area.
Normal traffic patterns will be restored by 3 p.m. on Friday.
The city recommends using alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion including Manhattan Avenue in lieu of Westshore Boulevard.
