Here are the top 3 stories in Buffalo today: Two members of the ECSO SWAT Quick Reaction Force and several civilians helped save a person believed to be having a seizure and possible heart attack during the Buffalo Bills game on Sunday. Officials say the patient had no pulse and was not breathing when they arrived on the scene in the parking lot of Highmark Stadium, where civilians were performing CPR on the victim. The first responders were able to help the victim regain consciousness, and the victim was taken to the hospital by ambulance. (WGRZ.com)Buffalo fire officials said Monday that the Buffalo Grand Hotel fire that occurred last week has been ruled arson. The fire, which broke out around 1 a.m. on Thursday in the ballroom and kitchen of the hotel, caused an estimated $3 million in damage. Officials are continuing to investigate the incident. (WIVB.com - News 4)A new state COVID-19 testing site is set to open in Buffalo on Tuesday at noon. The site, which will be located at the Northwest Buffalo Community Center on Lawn Avenue, is one of six new state testing facilities being created in response to the recent surge in COVID-19 cases. The sites will offer rapid antigen tests. Test results will be sent following the appointment through email or text message, and walk-in appointments will also be available.
