Hello CL Atlanta, My name is Chris and I am a PhD student at Georgia State University. I am looking for some subjects to participate in my dissertation study. I am nearly done and need just 5 more people to help me reach my goal. We are investigating the effects of strenuous exercise (downhill running) on the neuromuscular system. Subjects will be paid $100 in Visa Gift cards for completion of the study. You will be paid $25 on the first and second days and $50 on the last day. The first day takes just over two hours, the second day lasts roughly 4-5 hours, and the last day takes just under two hours. To qualify you must: Be a male between the ages of 18 to 35 Do not currently exercise or exercise recreationally (< 3 days/week). You'll be excluded if you play basketball, weightlift or plyometric train with your lower body. Have no history of traumatic lower body injuries (e.g., ligament and/or tendon tears in the knee or ankle). Have no current signs or symptoms of cardiovascular disease (e.g., heart murmur, chest pain, shortness of breath at rest) or do not currently have cardiovascular disease.
