Hourly employees will see an increase from $11.75 an hour to $12.55; for tipped workers, it goes from $5.88 to $6.28. Notably, the increase will not affect many workers, as wages were already on the rise to retain and incentivize workers during the pandemic. (WCAX)United Van Lines recently released its 45th Annual Movers Study, which showed that Vermont is the state with the highest percentage of inbound migration — a whopping 74%. Additionally, the city of Burlington earned a spot in the top 25 inbound metropolitan statistical areas with 66% inbound migration. The study showed that, despite an overall trend of people leaving the Northeast, individual states like Vermont and Rhode Island are seeing more inbound than outbound migration. (Vermont Biz)Tonight through Saturday, the Vermont Air National Guard will be flying nighttime training missions with its F-35 fighter jets. Takeoffs from the South Burlington airport are scheduled for 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.; landings are to happen between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. Afternoon training missions will also continue between 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m; no morning training flights are planned at this time.
