Press release from Kendall County Sheriff's Office: 01/03/2022 4:00 AM 01/02/22   2022-0010, Leaving the Scene of a Crash:  On 010222 at 5:09 a.m., Sheriff's Deputies responded to the 0-99 block of Oak Creek Dr, Bristol Township, for a report of a property damage accident in which the offending vehicle left the scene. The incident is under investigation. 2021-0013, DUI:  On 01/02/22 at 7:47 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Cannonball Trail and John Street, Bristol Township.  The driver, Monica M. Castleman, a 40-year-old female from the 2100-2200 block of Rossiter Parkway, Plainfield was taken into custody for driving under the influence of alcohol, unlawful display of registration, illegal transportation of alcohol, and operating an uninsured vehicle.  Castleman was transported to Kendall County Corrections for processing. 2022-0014, Suspended Driver's License: On 01/03/22 at 2:18 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on Anchor Dr and Dolphin Ct in Oswego Township for speeding. Morgan Ryan, a 35-year-old male from the 100 block of Harbor Dr in Oswego, was cited for speeding, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and driving on a suspended Driver's license. Ryan was issued a recognizance bond and released. 2022-0015, Suspended Driver's License: On 01/03/22 at 2:56 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on Commerce Dr and Light Rd in Oswego Township. Sabas Vargas, a 44-year-old male from the 1300 block of Monomoy St in Aurora, was citing for no registration light, and driving on a suspended Driver's license. Vargas was issued a recognizance bond and released. 2022-0016, In State Warrant: On 01/03/22 at 2:56 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on Commerce Dr and Light Rd in Oswego Township. Contact made with Mariana Silva, a 30-year-old female from 200 block of High St in Aurora, who was wanted on a Kane County warrant for Obstructing Identification. Bond on the warrant was set at $2,000 x10%. Silva was transported to the Kendall County Jail for further processing.     This press release was produced by Kendall County Sheriff's Office.
