Description
Two male Cocker Spaniels (brothers, both neutered). Born in 2009. Good health. No medications. On regular heartworm and vaccinations.
I am not 100% sure that I want to re-home them, but our living situation has changed over the years and this may be best for them. I want to gauge interest and conditions of a potential new home.
My requirements for them:
- Kept indoors
- Fenced in yard preferred.
- Not split up
Their behaviors:
- They are technically house trained, but occasionally have accidents if they are not let outside to use the bathroom "on time".
- When they get into parts of the house that they are not allowed to be in, they will "mark their territory". I don't know how this will translate to them being in a new home.
- They like to chew things and have been known to occasionally snatch small items off of tables (remote controls, books, etc.).
- If you leave food within reach, they will go for it. We have never given them people food (other than letting them clean up crumbs).
- Good in crates (crates included).
- Good with kids.
- Accustomed to being boarded.
- Accustomed to being groomed.
- Fairly good on leashes.
- Enjoy going for walks.
- Not aggressive with other dogs, but can be "overly friendly".
