ROMEOVILLE, IL — If you are a new parent or would like to have a technician ensure your car seat is properly installed, the Romeoville Fire Department offers child passenger safety requests from residents. The fire department has technicians available who can check to make sure a car seat is installed correctly, and your children are harnessed properly within the seat, according to the Village. They will also teach you how to use your car seat and install it on your own. You can complete a request form on the village website, and someone will reach out to you to schedule a date.
