Man Charged In Woman's Pittsburgh-Area Mutilation Slaying

MONROEVILLE, PA — A man is housed in the Allegheny County Jail accused of the grisly mutilation murder of a 49-year-old woman. Police arrested Matthew Gribschaw, 37, at the Rodeway Inn on Jan. 1 after they were called to the hotel for reports of a large amount of blood outside of a room. When they arrived, they found Gribschaw standing outside the room covered in blood, county police said. County Police charged Gribschaw with criminal homicide, abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence.
