Press release from the McHenry County Government: 01/03/2022 10:49 AM PRESS RELEASE  January 3, 2022 BRENDAN PIERARD JOINS THE CRIMINAL DIVISION OF THE MCHENRY COUNTY STATE'S ATTORNEY'S OFFICE  FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Patrick D. Kenneally, McHenry County State's Attorney, is pleased to announce that Brendan Pierard joined our office on Monday, January 3, 2022, as an Assistant State's Attorney in the Criminal Division. After graduating from DePaul University in Chicago with a Bachelor of Science in Managerial Statistics, Brendan received his Juris Doctor from Cornell in 2011. While at Cornell, he participated in Moot Court, Public Policy Forum, International Legal Policy Symposium, and the Death Penalty Report. Since graduation with his Juris Doctor, Brendan clerked for Judge Robert Marsaglia as part of a fellowship program, oversaw the legal compliance of multiple mid-size companies, ran his own general private practice covering both criminal and civil practice areas, and served as general counsel for a boutique investment firm.
