CHICAGO HEIGHTS, IL — After a mild start to the winter, the weather in Chicago Heights is starting to match the season. After several inches of snow this weekend, the National Weather Service forecast the coldest night so far this winter Sunday into Monday morning, bringing wind chills below zero, Patch reported. With more cold weather expected this week — Friday could have a high of only 9 degrees — there are locations throughout Cook County serving as warming centers if residents find themselves without heat.
