WHITE PLAINS, NY — A White Plains man died after being shot on New Year's Eve. White Plains police said Shawn Jefferson was shot around 11:50 p.m. Friday and was pronounced dead shortly before 12:30 a.m. Saturday, the Journal News reported. According to authorities, Jefferson was found with gunshot wounds outside a home on North Kensico Avenue, which was across the street from his residence.
