WEST VILLAGE, NY — Multiple trains are delayed Monday after NYPD got an unauthorized person off the tracks near the West 4th Street-Washington Square station in Lower Manhattan, according to the MTA. Northbound C and E trains are delayed as of 2:20 P.M., but both train local lines have resumed making normal stops from Canal Street to 59th Street-Columbus Circle, the MTA tweeted. The two train lines were momentarily running express earlier on Monday. The MTA also says to expect delays in A train service as it shares the track with the trains that were rerouted due to the unauthorized person. Northbound C and E trains are running with delays after NYPD removed an unauthorized person from the tracks at W 4 St-Wash Sq.
