House manager/ personal assistant NEEDED approx 10 hours per week with room to grow for the right person! ($20/hour) Looking for a great personal assistant/ house manager 1-2 days per week for our home in Ashland. Would love to find a detailed, personal assistant and house manager to help with errands, light cleaning, organization, and home maintenance (doing/scheduling). Attention to detail is important to us and we LOVE checklists. Wednesdays and Thursdays are preferred days for us with the occasional need for another day depending on guest schedules. (We have friends and family coming in and out of town regularly). Availability for the occasional weekend is a plus. Tasks include small things like making sure the lightbulbs are working and replaced, to creating and maintaining a system for turning over a house between one set of guests and another. Some of the things you’d be responsible for as an example: - Managing the turnover of the house between guests (overseeing cleaning crew, changing sheets and sending them out to get washed) - Keeping closets organized, labeled, and stocked (snacks, household supplies) - Maintaining the hot tub (testing, treating, and keeping supplies in stock) - Liaising with contractors, electricians, painters, etc as needed - Taking trash bins to the street on Wednesdays and bringing them back up the alley on Thursday - Errands such as drugstore pickup, PO Box pickup, among others Pay is $20/ hour paid twice per month via direct deposit (with a 1099 sent at the end of the year) to start, and if you’re amazing, detail-oriented, always punctual, reliable, and a self-starter, I’m happy to talk about raising it after 3 months. For the right person, this could eventually turn into several days a week with additional responsibilities. The ideal person loves all things checklists and label makers, loves creating, maintaining, and improving systems but isn’t above rolling up sleeves and getting hands dirty when needed (such as filling in to get the house cleaned if the cleaning crew is unavailable).
