Description

TUCSON, AZ — As of Monday, Pima County will no longer distribute free at-home rapid COVID-19 tests at Pima County libraries. Over the past month, libraries in Pima County handed out around 50,000 of the tests, according to a Facebook post from Pima County. The county attributed the distribution change to its limited supply of test kits, which has been an issue across the country in recent weeks. The county is still scheduling free test kit give-away events, with the next one set for 3-7 p.m. Tuesday at Abrams Public Health Center, 3950 S. Country Club Road. Each test kit contains two rapid antigen tests, and distribution will be limited to one test kit per person. Click here for more information on free COVID-19 testing in Pima County.
