**ELIZA NEEDS A COMMITTED FOSTER ASAP SO A RESCUE CAN SAVE THIS GIRL.....PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE POST DOWN BELOW, SHE IS URGENT!!!! Meet Eliza I am set to be put down on 1/4. Why am I E-listed? I'm very afraid of this shelter! It is hard for me to make progress here. I need a quiet place where I can feel safe!! Can you help me? I'm a 6-year-old, un-spayed female, white German Shepherd/Siberian Husky Mix (66 lbs.). I recently was relaxed in my kennel and wagged my tail when approached and slowly came towards a staff member when coaxed in the play yard. I tolerate staff in proximity but am too afraid to be petted. I remain fearful of being leashed and go flat to the ground when attempts are made to walk me. No dog-to-dog eval was done so I don't know how I would be with other dogs. For me to make progress, I need to be out of this noisy, chaotic place and into a quiet home with an experienced foster that understands fearful dogs like me.
