Lost flying ball

We got this flying ball for Christmas and tried it inside but when I took it outside for more room it just kept flying up and up out of view. Tiny battery so it can't have gone far. We are close to Main Street and 83rd Street and it looks like it was headed north. It's a plastic ball about 4 in in diameter. I tried to turn off with the remote but it got too far away too fast I guess. My son is upset now and I'd hate to have to buy another one, hopefully somebody spots it.
