Hey my names Joel. I’m 33, and I’ve been playing bass for 11 years. I am looking to start a musical group inspired by bands like Men I Trust,Khruangbin, and Crumb. I like 1970’s jam music and Hip hop/Rnb/ funk style drums. Im partial to Shoegaze bands with dynamics like Mbv, Ringo deathstar, and Chapter house. I also like Trip hop groups such as Morcheeba, Massive Attack, and Bowery Electric. I want to make Funky,Groovy,Hypnotic,psychedelic mid to slow tempo music with hooks that’s still somewhat jammy and experimental. Social distancing and masks is a must, but do not care about vaccination status. People with substance issues, have no drive and are broke all the time, or overly political on both sides of the False left/right dichotomy need not apply.
