We’re a three-piece punk/post-punk band (he/he/they) looking for a fourth. Primarily looking for synth/keys, though additional guitar may come in handy, too — if you’re primarily a synth/keyboard player, that’s fine, guitar isn’t a must-have. We’ve been playing through 2021 and have recently recorded a three-song demo at Jackpot (we are literally in the control room mixing right now). We plan to get back in there in the spring (and summer, and fall) to round out a full set of demos without rushing to try to write and record everything all at once. We’re a pretty flexible group, open to a lot of ideas, though we have a general sound in mind (New Order, Orange Juice, all of those dancy punk bands from the 00s). We have a dedicated practice/recording space, and we generally try to be friendly and agreeable people. We typically practice Mon/Wed nights. All of us are vaccinated and boosted, and you need to be as well (or at least on your way). Goal-wise, we’re primarily focused on writing and recording music, though we’re excited to eventually get out and play shows again (whenever shows are a thing again). Will is as important as skill; if you’re relatively new to your instrument, that’s okay, as long as you’re happy to keep working on it. Does this interest you? If so, let’s get in touch.
