Looking for artists who would like to display their work in our cafe (White Rabbit Bakery) in Aurora. Artists each get a three month window, available currently are April/May/June and July/August/September. We are especially interested in work other than watercolor as we already have a watercolor artist who regularly does shows for us. We ask that artists be willing to hang work from our picture rails to avoid excessive damage to the walls.
The way we handle sales is as follows: Artists are welcome to handle all sales themselves and keep 100 percent of any profits made. If you would like us to handle sales we take a 20% commission. We ask you to provide a detailed inventory of everything brought in. When work is taken down at the end of the three month period, you will take inventory again to find what has sold and write us an invoice. Our staff is young and inexperienced and turns over often. We find relying on them to record art sales has been unreliable and we need a simple system to work with our busy and chaotic cafe.
