I moved to a new area and let my cat out but she became lost. I should have waited for her to get used to the new area. These days never let your pet out.... coyotes are everywhere. Here is my tip. Go out after dark and traffic has settled down. Walk SLOWLY calling their name. They may be a few streets away and in shock and scared. Shake a treat bag if that is something they are used to. Give him time to come to you. Good luck!
