Mission Church is a Baptist Church in Virginia Beach Located off 264 and S. Witchduck rd. We have currently have one service @ 10:30 am on Sunday morning with a soundcheck at 9 am. Our rehearsals are on Wednesday nights from 6 pm to 7:30 pm. We play music from artists like Hillsong, Elevation, Maverick City, Bethel, and more. We often mix Contemporary, Gospel, and Hymnals to close the generational gap and allow for a welcoming worship atmosphere. We are running an Allen & Heath Sq board, with a Dante network and Studio One Pro 5 in a separate room for our live stream mix. Currently, we only have one sound tech with limited experience, but we have some really nice gear and in the right hands we could really produce a great product for people attending Mission Church and our community!
We already have a great team of volunteers and would love for you to be a part of our team. The "Audition" is simple, We ask that you participate in three rehearsals before serving in a Sunday service. This allows us to get to know you and gives you an opportunity to attend our church and see what it's like outside of mixing for the band.
